Going to Australia and New Zealand has always been Joan's dream. 10 years ago we wanted to go for Joan's 40th birthday, but decided to save our pennies and do it right and wait until she turned 50 (ok, we just couldn't afford it). But save we did (with hard work and dedication and a little help in the stock market with her Dad being very good at day-trading for us)! It's hard to believe the time has come. We decided to create a Blog to share our adventure with our family and friends. Hopefully we will be able to keep up with our Blog during our journey and share some experiences and pictures with you all while we're gone. So, here we go.... we're off on Halloween and will be traveling through November 23rd. We know it will be what we've always dreamed it will be!
